With the intensification of aging population and changes in family demographics in China, how to create spaces that are more suitable for the daily activities and lives of the elderly has become a topic of social concern.
In order to better enhance the ability and level of aging friendly building design groups and individuals in Northeast China, promote academic exchanges and innovative ideas collision among multiple disciplines, the first aging friendly building design competition in Northeast China, jointly organized by the Elderly friendly Building Professional Committee of Liaoning Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, Liaoning Elderly Industry Association, and Liaoning Elderly Care Building Engineering and Service Industry School Enterprise Alliance, and hosted by Shenyang Jianzhu University, is a collection of award-winning works in Landscape and Planning.
