In the process of “AT Architecture”‘s first overseas architectural tasting, we followed eight groups of new generation Japanese architects, including Akira Miyazaki, recommended by architect Yukari Tsukamoto.
Miyazaki Akiyoshi, based on a long-term perspective and attitude, actively utilizes architecture as a historical resource that remains in place through practice.
By adapting architecture to the local context and understanding the city’s cultural context, he guides people towards new behaviors and publicness.
Let’s follow his perspective and design to learn about this young Japanese architect born around the 1980s.
