The design object is selected as a common but somewhat special house at the west entrance of the village.
Ordinary because it is the most basic and common type of unit building in modern rural areas in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, and especially because it is located at the “village entrance” of a small settlement, it distinguishes the boundary between the village and the field, and should have the indicative and public characteristics unique to the “village entrance” space from the perspective of its location characteristics.
At the request of the village committee, we have decided to transform this small house, which has basically become a warehouse, into a multi-functional activity room.
