The project is the Sand Dune Six Goodness Hotel in Saudi Arabia, designed by the renowned British architectural firm Norman Foster, located in a magnificent desert landscape as a new luxury resort.
In the past, Foster projects were more familiar with being high-rise buildings in cities and showcasing high-tech design techniques.
However, this project was not large in scale, and the architects responded well to the local environment and climate, as well as high sustainability environmental standards.
Although it does not have the highly industrialized design techniques of super high-rise buildings and Apple stores, it demonstrates a good architect’s response to the environment, volume, and function.
Architects also have a combination of local technology and modern parametric design.
