Nordic Office of architecture was commissioned by the Norwegian Association of patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases LHL to establish a new hospital in gallemoon, Norway.
Over time, the hospital will become part of the new medical park, creating diversified urban space while making full use of the leisure potential of the nearby forest land.
Work intensive areas such as ambulance reception, helipad and cargo transportation are located near the entrance area, while hospital beds, rehabilitation areas and visitor accommodation face the surrounding green landscape area.
Sufficient natural light and space connection provide space transparency and line of sight connectivity for the whole building.
