Campus Public Building Design: Xinjiang Tarim University New Campus Map Information Center/Case Study

The project is located in Alar City, Xinjiang, with the campus situated on the edge of the Taklamakan Desert and adjacent to the Tarim River to the south.

It is the southernmost higher education institution in Xinjiang, with a special historical significance and glorious revolutionary tradition.

The building area is 44434 square meters.

The local climate is dry and hot in summer and cold in winter, with strong solar radiation, large temperature difference between day and night, high evaporation, frequent sandstorms, and an underdeveloped level of economic development.

The Tu Xin Center integrates functions such as an electronic library, shared office, engineering basic public classrooms, and laboratories, and is an important building in the new campus of Tarim University.
