The 14th Five Year Plan for Building Energy Efficiency and Green Building Development issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development clearly states that by 2025, new urban buildings will fully implement green building standards.

Hubei Opinions on Promoting the Steady and Healthy Development of the Real Estate Market in the Province: (1) Encourage the transformation of the real estate industry by rewarding plot ratio; (2) For 1-star, 2-star and 3-star green buildings, 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% of the total area will be awarded with plot ratio; (3) For prefabricated projects, the floor area ratio will be awarded; The deed tax corresponding to the fully decorated part shall be exempted.
The provincial financial incentive standards for one star, two star and three star are 10 yuan/m2, 15 yuan/m2 and 20 yuan/m2.

Hebei Provincial Regulations on Promoting the Development of Green Buildings: R&D expenses for new technologies, materials and equipment of green buildings can enjoy preferential policies such as pre tax deduction.
Fujian Green Building Action Implementation Plan: (1) For buildings with two or more stars, the provincial energy-saving fund will be awarded; For real estate development enterprises developing star green building residential district projects, 1%, 2% and 3% of the plot ratio will be awarded according to the first, second and three-star levels respectively.
