751-798 Art District is the largest art district in China and the main venue for Beijing Fashion Week and Design Week.
The park was first built in the 1950s as a large-scale electronic component joint factory with aid from East Germany.
The newly built 751 Library is located at the end of the main road 798 in the park, facing the locomotive square.
The original site is the ash washing pool left in the factory, and the crane installed above is the lifting equipment for grabbing and transporting coal ash in the pool.
After 2010, the use of the ash washing pool and crane ceased, and the site was closed and managed for a long time.
The continuous active commercial interface of 300 meters from 798 Street to the end of the railway locomotive square was forced to be interrupted.
