In the spring semester of 2025-2026, Professor Yao Zigang and Associate Professor Li Wenzhu from the Department of Landscape Planning and Design at East China University of Science and Technology successfully completed the core course of “Fundamentals of Architectural Design” for undergraduate students in the first year of 2025.
As a fundamental course for architectural design learning, “Fundamentals of Architectural Design” takes “theory+practice” as the main line, starting from classic architectural cases, guiding students to enter real sites, gradually establishing a basic understanding of architectural space through observation, research, thinking, and practice.
