The main venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 9th Harbin Asian Winter Games was renovated from the original exhibition hall of Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Sports Center.
The design used scientific methods to remove the partitions between exhibition halls B and C, forming a grand space with a length of 180 meters, a width of 130 meters, a height of 35 meters, a total seating capacity of 17000, a performance venue of 6000 square meters, and a building area of 38600 square meters.
