Project Case | Samsung Green Ultra high Assembly Rate Building: Zijin Campus of Zhejiang University Architectural Design and Research

The B1 building of the Zijin Campus of Zhejiang University Architectural Design and Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as B1 building) is located in the Zijin Creative Town in Hangzhou, which is jointly built by the Xihu District People’s Government of Hangzhou and Zhejiang University.

The B1 building is a multi story office building that has been awarded the national AAA level precast building and the three-star green building label for operation.

It is a demonstration project for precast building technology by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development and a demonstration project for building industrialization in Zhejiang Province.

In this project, the balance between technology, art, and nature becomes the key to design.

In rational construction, we are not bound by technology and emphasize that ‘industrialization also has poetry’, breaking the stereotype of general precast buildings being rough, crude, and cold among the public.
