The design team grasps the core connection between architecture and the natural and cultural environment: using the iconic building “Tianhan Tower” on the south side of the site as a spatial anchor, a north-south urban axis is pulled out, and the Grand Theater is placed on the east side of the axis; Due to the open landscape of the site and its location at a street corner, a complete circular shape was chosen as the architectural form – like placing the first chess piece on a new city chessboard, both independent and eye-catching.
