A month ago, I took a high-speed train from Shanghai to Hangzhou, departing from Shanghai South Station.

This was an ordinary journey, and I didn’t have much expectation for the train station – all that came to my mind were those exaggerated, tall, stuffy, crowded, oddly shaped, and crudely crafted steel structure beasts.
