The design project for the third grade of this semester is “Urban Living Room”, which refers to urban cultural complexes.
The aim is to cultivate students’ spatial organization ability in complex environments and functions, and to master the basic principles and methods of the layout, spatial organization, and streamline design of urban complex buildings.
As a type of building that integrates urban public cultural undertakings, cultural industries, and cultural consumption, urban cultural complexes have functions of publicness, directionality, aggregation, integration, correlation, radiation, and derivation.
They can organize and serve cultural consumption in creative spaces, thereby stimulating urban vitality.
