The “Best Architects” award is one of the influential architectural awards in Europe in recent years.
It was established in 2006 and initially focused on architectural practices in German speaking regions.
In 2015, it was officially opened for selection throughout Europe.
The award is held annually and covers multiple categories such as residential, public buildings, educational buildings, renovation and expansion, continuously documenting the development of contemporary architecture in Europe.
Unlike simply focusing on the selection of architectural forms, this award emphasizes the integrity of the design concept and architectural strategy behind the project, as well as the responsiveness of the plan to the site, environment, and usage needs.
