Adhering to the concept of inheriting Chinese architectural design and culture, Yimai Center was initiated by Academician Cui Kai and officially established in July 2024.
Its predecessor was the Rural Design Research Center of the Urban Planning Institute, founded in 2018.
Led by Dr.
Guo Hai’an, Vice Chief Architect of China Academy of Architectural Design and Research and Academician Cui Kai, the project is a design force that insists on exploring Chinese culture and local context.
It has long been committed to the design of contemporary Chinese new rural architecture, urban design and renovation with Chinese urban regional characteristics, and has a wide industry influence in the fields of architectural design, architectural renovation, urban renewal, and rural revitalization.
