© THE LOCAL PROJECT。 The client has lived in this villa for many years, but the expansion built in the 1970s has incomplete functions, making the entire residence appear cramped and oppressive, isolated from the garden, and inconvenient to move around.

Urban Habitats did not demolish the expansion section, but focused on improving the existing space, removing unnecessary partitions, optimizing the layout, and establishing clearer hierarchical relationships between public living areas, private recreational spaces, and landscapes.

She hopes to change her daily lifestyle – to make life easier, calmer, and more enjoyable, “said Sarah Stephen, design manager and senior architect.

The kitchen has been moved to the center of the public living area, while the bedroom, suite bathroom, and study have been arranged into a quieter private area.
